Project Description:
The project is focused on using nondestructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasound for testing the quality and properties of engineered wood products (e.g. CLT, LVL).
Student will gain experience on working with NDT tools and data analysis; which are important R&D skills with a broad applications across the forest and wood products industry.
The nature of the project is very practical and of interest to industry providing opportunity for students to conduct applied research.
If interested, students can also learn about data analytics and related topics.
