View Dynamic Glass

We have a beautiful view of campus, as well as the coastal range, from the PFSC. The glass allows people to work comfortably next to windows. It is self-tinting and glare-controlling, allowing people the ability to see outside of their workspaces. View Dynamic Glass leverages nanotechnology and pre-programmed intelligence to tint windows, eliminating the need for blinds or shades. The company promises to save up to 18 percent of overall HVAC energy consumption by limiting unwanted heat gain in the summer but allowing passive heat gain in the winter. The glass also reduces peak cooling load reduction by up to 23 percent, as it blocks more than 90 percent of solar radiation.
