Cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels

The PFSC is framed with Douglas-fir CLT grown in Oregon and processed by D.R. Johnson Wood Innovations, LLC in Riddle, Ore. D.R. Johnson become the first company officially licensed to produce CLT panels in the United States. Some experts describe this material as plywood on steroids. CLT is a wood panel product made from gluing layers of solid-sawn lumber together.
